Best Booty Exercises for a Super Toned Tush!

Want to know the BEST exercises for some Glorious looking Glutes? Girrrrl, you know i've got you! I've tried and tested every exercise under the sun. These 6 exercises are sure to get your glutes fired up.


1. Step Up

This single leg exercise is killer and a must have in your regime. I like to take the 'stability' aspect OUT of the equation and hold on to something, so I can put all my focus and energy into slowing the movement down, pushing my hips back and getting as much tension on the glutes as possible.


2. 45 Degree Hyper

This can be a little tricky to get the correct movement pattern at first, BUT when you do...goood laaaawd! My tips - keep chin tucked and a neutral to slightly rounded spine, push your hips into the pad and squeeze your butt cheeks together like you're holding a pencil between them, it works, trust me.


3. Split Stance RDL

These will take your RDL to the next level, trust me. Splitting your stance allows you to work each side individually, while still giving you the stability of two feet on the ground, it's the best of both worlds and brings a whole lot of glute pump with it.


4. Barbell Hip Thrust

The OG, the Master, the Godfather, the Queen of all glute exercises. It is a staple for any glute workout. My tips? Go heavy and go hard baby girl!


5. Standing Cable/Banded Abductions

We can't neglect the smaller glute muscles either, abduction work will help create that round look and give you booty shelf. Go a little lighter on these and don't kick your leg too high/far out to the side, more movement does not mean more glutes, it should be a small movement that's focused on targeting your glute med/glute min.


6. Hip Thrust Abductions

I love using these as a glute day finisher. Set yourself up into your hip thrust position, place a band around your knees and a heavy dumbbell on your hips and abduct-away. Aim for 30 - 50 reps and you'll be burning for days.
